Rochester Bus Shelters

Rochester, MN downtown bus shelters were designed in collaboration with Public Artist David Dahlquist to incorporate a “Medicinal Plants” theme. Constructed of steel, regional limestone, metal panels, and glass, these modern public transit shelters also incorporate state of the art communications equipment and are heated to provide users with a comfortable and safe waiting area during Minnesota’s inclement winters. The glass panels that enclose the shelter are etched with images of medicinal plants and are lit with multicolor LED lights that add a kinetic element to the stationary structures.
